Tok Ketuo suko anou bolo burung.
Satu ari kesodo burung inyo ilang

Pokok ciku.
Dulu dokek umah tu ado limo batang poko ciku. Pokok ciku sonang di panjek sebab dahan dahan nyo rapek dan liek, susa nak soka. Buah ciku indak beronti bebuah, yang putik ado, yang mudo ado, yang tuo pun ado. Yang tuo, yang da bule dipotek tu sonang nak kone sebab ujung bua tu selalu ado jarum itam dan bilo bua tuo, jarum ni akan jato. Selain dari itu yang tuo bilo di gusok, dobu pasir dikulik bua ciku akan tangge.
Yang masak tu selalu dipotek hari Rabu. Kemudian nyo buah tu akan di rondam dalam besin dan di baso dengan mengusok dobu dobu dikulik bua dengan sabuik kelapo. suda baso, dilambak ate guni, sehinggo koriong. Malam ala koriong baru la dimasukkan kedalam tempayan. Di biang jo dalam tempayan sampai pagi Ahad.
Pagi ahad buah ciku masak disusun elok elok kedalam rago dan dibawak kepokan sari. Di situ ado tompek awak menjue ciku. kalau abi ciku tu dapek la limo, enam inggit. Untuk belanjo sekola awak dan adiok adiok , untuk seminggu.
